This is my second visit to this hostel in Lisbon. I selected this hostel due that I knew already how to get there and what the area looks like. So, I arrived via metro to the Martim Moniz metro station and from there took me about 5-7 minutes to walk to the hostel. The hotel staff opened the door for me and informed me about the deposit for the key (5 euro - returned at the check out) and for the city tax and after that showed me the room. Due that I was staying only for one night, I took the 8 person room. The beds were separated in two rooms, so there were like two 4-person rooms. You can add your staff under the bed, in which is the storage. The bed was nice and comfortable, with access to the plug. Close to my room where the toilets separated men and women. The hostel also has the possibility to storage your luggage during the check out in case that you have time until your next trip.

Mainly the staff who were the kindest, friendliest people we've ever met in a hostel. Very chill, always available, always smiling. The location was perfect: quiet, central and well connected. The property itself was beautiful too: lovely bare floor boards, clean, spacious, stylish decor throughout, highly organised kitchen/cooking/breakfast regimen, beautiful rooms (we had a private room with direct access to the terrace, and, of course, the terrace itself (the terrace being, for us, the most crucial element – it was clean, spacious, beautifully appointed and with the best view we've ever come across in a city centre hostel), well thought-out bathroom facilities despite being communal and well... I could go on for a while :)

The view from the terrace was great and the rooms were spacious and included small lockers (with their own lock and key, no padlock needed) for our things. I don't know if my timing was just lucky, but the hostel was also exceptionally quiet. No partying or loud noises. You can also ask the staff to wash your things for a small fee (I think it was four euros) and if you wash things yourself/need to dry your towel etc, there is some drying space outside (huge plus for me). Finally, I very much appreciated that a couple of days before you arrive, they sent an email with detailed instructions of how to get there with minimum walking effort (the hostel is up the hill and google maps doesn't give you the best solution).

I totally liked everything about here. It won my heart with its location, facilities, magnificent terrace, breakfast facilities, cleanliness, comfort of the beds and especially its employees. It's a very friendly atmosphere, you can meet other people staying at the hotel and go out in the evening. Everyone was so sweet. It is also very close to amazing places where you can go to watch the sunset. Since transportation throughout the city is provided by walking, you can reach anywhere you want in 20-40 minutes by walking from here. I met four employees in three days and they were all very friendly, cheerful, fun and helpful. Thank you very much everyone. Hope to see you again..

This property in my opinion was off the beaten path in my opinion and I mean that as in no British as I am British and didn’t want to be near hundreds of Brits. It was up hill, and was quite secluded and quiet too. Although there were quite a few restaurants, cafes and bars nearby which was good too. The rooms were quite roomy, clean and the view on the balcony/ terrace was quite beautiful although the best view was the receptionist and her top shelf which was absolutely spectacular when coming back each night
